Ironstone Transferware Pitcher
Ironstone has been around since the 1800's, there are many varieties all very beautiful. It's essentially stoneware that was made as a cheap alternative to porcelain. I have collected it for years, and always love each new piece for all its imperfections. This little pitcher is no exception. The details in the transferware give it a beautiful shade of purple and the sweet design offers charm as it sits on a table filled with foraged bits.
